20–22nd September Steam Gala

One of the highlights of the year in the steam preservation calendar is the Severn Valley Railway's Steam Gala, and this year's was to be one of the best ever! The line-up of loco's was (as ever) impressive. After experiencing last years event I thought it impossible to surpass it (I was wrong). This year's roll call was as follows, LMS 7P 6201 Princess Elizabeth, 8P 6233 Duchess of Sutherland, Black 5 45110, 8F 48773 and Ivatt Class 2 46443, LNER A4 60009 Union of South Africa, GWR Pannier tanks 1501, 5764, 7714 and Manor 7802 Bradley Manor.
